between seemingly disparate times

passing through styles of trends and time, between past and future, a captivating visual image that through the lack of coherence brings out/unveils the beauty of diversity.

constructing unforeseen meanings between apparent contradictions and revealing unexpected understandings within human complexity, the destination being a complementary perspective born in a chosen time. thus, we learn to look beyond the surface, understand the depth of every detail.

witness to a dialogue between elements

in the depths of tranquility, where the caress of sunlight merges with the clear visage of the lake's waters, there rises a house that seems to be bathed in the light of a future understanding. a construction not only material, but also spiritual, redefining the concept of living and presence.

with each sunrise, the universe opens its eyes and reveals its mysteries, and the inhabitants of this house are privileged witnesses to this ceremony of existence; in a sublime symbiosis between man and nature, each moment becomes a meditation on time and eternity.

the interior of the house becomes a metaphor for the human consciousness: spacious, bright spaces that reflect the inner depth of being. the simple furniture and warm colors merge into a harmony that brings peace and balance to the soul of the one who resides here; through the large and transparent windows, a perspective opens up on the infinite and the ephemerality of life; a reflection of the soul in nature, an awareness of human fragility and the inexorable passage of time.

the evenings become an opportunity for reflection and contemplation; in the silence of the house, thoughts become lights that pierce the darkness of ignorance, seeking the supreme truth; in the shadow of the stars, each memory becomes a witness to the dialogue between elements, discovering that the dwelling is more than just a shelter, but a temple of well-being.

tomorrow's story of a historical act

architecture didn't change history, architecture is the witness of it, and the presence of the past is the key to future knowledge.

the perspective of a new order or neo-romanian charm weaves with the manifestation of authentic experiences, leading this space into a future scenario of challenging moments that attest to the power of time in shaping matter.

more is more

pragmatic reverie

more than a two-level apartment and more than an interior design guided by moods, emotions, impressions, and tastes.

it is a fluid universe of continuities and essences; a message from parents to the next generation, a message gradually revealed to children over time.

more concretely, a living scenario for a lifetime, for several, accompanying and mirroring each age.

slo-mo

“ the slo-mo is not about doing everything at a snail’s pace; it's about seeking to do everything at the right speed.

savoring the hours and minutes rather than just counting them. doing everything as well as possible, instead of as fast as possible. it’s about quality over quantity in everything …

it is a manifesto against the notion that faster is always better. ” — carl honore —

oxford, plastic approach and living

“a bold assumed approach unites two buildings from a bucharest residential complex under a poetic-sculptural vision.

a “home” dear to the beneficiaries is lived in a residential complex in bucharest, where, after a year of design and 3 and a half years of implementation, the team managed to create a living space that reflects their lifestyle. starting from the initial project signed by igloo architecture, the phenomena team united the two buildings of the family, remodeling the interior space and the garden courtyard.

the federal, masculine language of the rhythm of the brick present on the outside was taken over and reinterpreted on the inside in the form of a reflection of the wavy, organic, feminine silhouettes. a mathematical rhythm (3 to 1) was applied and concretized in elements that cover the entire space, being found in the case of doors, ceilings, in the pool area and imposing the rhythm of some plastic corrugations of the materials. this rhythm is inspired by shades of white, cream and gold, drawing a refined and bright space.

sculptural element par excellence, the interior staircase offers the eyes the feeling of transparency that results from the appearance of glass. communicating openly, on the first level, the living room, dining area and kitchen are part of the stylistic register of precious materials and geometric-transparent furniture objects. the harmony also comes from the fact that, in proportion of 95%, the finishing part was made custom made (except for the kitchen and appliances). the walls of the master bathroom, for example, are handmade in india, for the fireplace and pool marble from the same quarry was used as the parthenon, and the door sills were made with the help of a craftsman from france. in the living room, each floor slab (6 m x 45 cm) represents the middle of a tree. from the intimacy of the night areas the gaze passes into the carefully populated garden with enough greenery that the furniture for relaxation is a real invitation. then the indoor pool, completed by the gym, are real displays of the organic-feminine aesthetic composition, becoming a pleasant oasis-greenhouse. antinorma, purist concept of an authentic lifestyle

antinormal, anti-normal, or the environment that defies the banal through over-scaled natural elements. the inspiration slipped easily and naturally into this space located on the 12th floor above the ground and high on 2 levels.

with an overwhelming view of (towards) the city and enough distance to unfold a panorama, the large windows of the living area appear to be vivid paintings.

the dynamism of the natural environment was taken over by creating a ceiling that mimics the movement of clouds on the north-south axis, with light inserts on the opposite axis, between the curled folds. the rhythm and depth of the folds vary, but the orientation remains marked at the floor level, by arranging the parquet at the same angle, in order to clearly direct attention to one of the important places of the living area: the dining area. Plants with ample foliage preside over this corner, finding continuity to the relaxation area that it ennobles both in appearance and in the protection it offers from overexposing the area to natural light. thus, in the background there are unique furniture objects, personalized and designed down to the smallest detail to remain discreet where only nature and human nature can take precedence.

the decorative accents are mostly made of glass, a transparent presence that does not disturb the alternation of curvature-rectilinear, natural-processed, light-dark or solid-immaterial. neutral shades, simplicity of lines and purity of materials used in the raw state, praise the natural environment and open a mysterious window to a purist concept of an authentic lifestyle " phenomena —

the man from the moon came down too soon

"dramatic and surreal, this apartment appears as an independent micro-universe, a time capsule in the north of Bucharest. the general line of the arrangement evokes the aesthetics of SFs from the 1960s and 1970s, with productions such as "mechanical orange", stanley kubrick's masterpiece, or the legendary "star trek" series.” — igloo —

strong just like a vitamin

beyond corporate functional minimalism or ultraexploited playfulness – scenarios that are all too frequent in office interior design, the Eden Capital Office project stands out through the ‘’baroque’’ character of the daring oversized elements.

visible volumes (furniture, decorative elements) draw the attention of the visitor, or of the daily user of the space, to the unusual character of the experience. this is the very result that was aimed for by the team of phenomena laboratory, who set out to materialise a concept of order and clarity without falling prey to repetition.

the project stands out aesthetically through the choice of precious materials combining the spirit of harmonious monochrome.

the design of the office space conveys order, but not rigor, and insights the curiosity of walking through a space that distances self from the known paradigms of the most contemporary interior design projects.

phenomena gallery

— anda zota —

the aesthetics of an assumed difference; fortune favours the bold

"the interior design of this apartment, located in Bucharest, within the Cortina Residence residential complex,  provides a perfect example of the creative philosophy of Phenomena Laboratory team: challenging the standard, the conventional. a challenge in which the coordinates of an industrial-inspired minimalism are superimposed over the richness of precious materials (marble, gold-tone metal, glass) and over the textures and colors that seem to disregard too many rules.
